Promotional Products as Part of Holiday Direct Mail Campaigns

From department store catalogs to newspaper inserts in weekend issues, promotional products permeate many of the direct mail pieces with which every individual comes in contact every single day, but sometimes their presence may not be as obvious as other times. For instance, when you open a magazine and find an insert encouraging you to unfold the advertisement to preview a new perfume or cologne scent, this form of advertising, in essence, is an example of promotional products. More traditional types of promotional products in direct mailings may come in the shape of miniature samples, with branded wrap-around labels on the packages, or free gifts sent to valued clients along with seasonal catalogs to entice continued loyalty and patronage.
