Last weekend, I attended a free summer music festival at a local park and observed masses of people amusing themselves with one of the coolest promotional products ever. A light up cup, which relies on insertion of a promotional glow stick into its base, was available at one of the venues’ alcoholic beverage booths for an extra charge. Festival attendees couldn’t get enough of these entertaining drinkware pieces, despite their inevitably short lifespans. With a glow time of just a few short hours, these promotional products revert back to ordinary cups once their temporary light sources have run their course.

Depending on your focal industry and product or service offerings, humorous marketing efforts can differentiate your brand from the competition by spotlighting your company’s creativity and originality. Promotional products may be useful, inexpensive tools to publicize your company’s playful nature to prospective and current clients.

Promotional Products for Animal Shelters

With the economy still in a slump, many people are being forced to get rid of their pets, and animal shelters can use promotional products to spread the word about rescue options for unwanted pets. Pet homelessness is a growing problem in our society, and people need to be educated about more humane alternatives than abandoning their animals. There are a plethora of safe havens willing to take on the burden of finding pets homes, but the lack of reliable resources may leave unfit pet owners feeling helpless. Promotional products dispersing information about pet adoption agencies should be more popular!

Promotional Products for a Balloon-Powered Flight
A man from Raleigh, North Carolina, Jonathan Trappe, flew across the English Channel Friday in a desk chair secured to large helium balloons- imagine the exposure a corporate sponsor could have achieved by providing Trappe with promotional products like imprinted balloons for his flight? Additionally, because of the specialized design of Trappe’s desk chair, a creative furniture manufacturer could have capitalized on positive publicity from his flight by collaborating with him on its creation. Hopefully innovative brands will realize the potential rewards of helping a daredevil achieve seemingly impossible goals by providing promotional products to further his or her cause!
