Back to School Cool Promotional Products

With students around the country kicking off their fall semesters, there are a plethora of collegiate promotional products available in official campus bookstores to help students display their school spirit. From athletic shorts to underwear, paraphernalia featuring college mascots spans all sorts of product categories to enhance various aspects of purchasers’ lives. Long after students graduate from their respective alma maters, they will be able to reflect on their college years by glancing at keepsakes like bumper stickers and jewelry, and they can easily recognize other alumna from their university by identifying those individuals’ promotional products.

Promotional Products for Dive-In Movies

Tonight, my apartment complex is hosting a “Dive-in Movie,” complete with promotional products like popcorn, candy and fold-up chairs. All residents have been invited to watch a full-length movie on a giant, inflatable movie screen, so it is an ideal opportunity for representatives from our building’s leasing office to hand out branded giveaways to encourage referrals and generate positive publicity. Attendees can sip their complimentary beverages from acrylic cups custom imprinted with the name and contact information of the complex, and other promotional products like balloons and signage can create a “party” atmosphere for guests to enjoy by the pool.

Promotional Products that Make a Difference

Why are promotional products such a great way to promote your brand? Because they are often functional items that recipients find highly valuable. As a result, they will hold onto these items for a long time. Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. and Chevrolet set a perfect example of the beneficial use of promotional products this week when they teamed up to donate Chevrolet vehicles, organic baby food, promotional Winn-Dixie baby apparel and other imprinted items to expectant military moms from Northeast Florida. My guess is that these moms-to-be will be incredibly grateful and may even become lifelong patrons of the Winn-Dixie chain.

Promotional Products for Bridal Boutiques

Shopping for wedding dresses has become somewhat of a sport for brides-to-be around the world, and bridal boutiques would be wise to integrate promotional products into their marketing mixes. Many brides refuse to shop for their dress without an entourage to help them make the decision of which dress to purchase, and friends, family and wedding planners may be present to lend their support. Giving soon-to-be brides and their guests items like keychains or pens may help raise awareness about the boutique in the local community, as promotional products are capable of garnering lots of impressions at a minimal cost.

Promotional Products for Pen Pals

A friend of mine from college recently mentioned that she keeps in touch with another college friend via snail mail, and I recommended that she use original promotional products to enhance her written correspondences. From personalized stamps and return address labels to envelopes and stationery, there are many unique elements of a letter that can represent the author’s personality and interests. For example, Anna may want to order custom address labels featuring an original sketch or even a photo. Promotional products are not only valuable marketing vehicles, but they can also help individuals brand themselves through one-of-a-kind messages and graphics.
